It is known that the Tan Viet Metal Science and Technology Factory project is invested by Tan Viet Metal Science and Technology Co., Ltd. under YongJin Group in WHA Industrial Zone 1 Nghe An, Nghi Dong Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province, Vietnam.

Nghe An is the hometown of the great leader President Ho Chi Minh, the cradle of glorious resistance in the heroic history of the Vietnamese people. And you may not know, the groundbreaking ceremony of the project (May 19, 2023) is especially meaningful as it falls on the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

The project has an area of ​​126,500 square meters, a total investment of 125 million USD, was granted an Investment Registration Certificate by the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone on November 8, 2022 and started construction on May 19, 2023. The project is expected to start operating in the second quarter of 2024.

The design capacity of the factory includes: 1 production line of high-quality stainless steel strip with a surface of 300 2B, with an output of 180,000 tons/year; 1 production line of high quality stainless steel strip surface 300, 400 BA output 80,000 tons/year, with developed technology and high standard production plant, modern production system with full supporting facilities, advanced equipment and lean management.

This project will make an important contribution to the development of industries, supporting budget increases (it is expected that when the factory comes into operation, it will contribute about 1,000 billion VND/year to the budget).
